Byron Russell, fishing as a freshman angler, took 2nd place in the 2016 tournament in Isla Mujeres, Mexico with a slim 27.5 point margin over third place.
Chase Offield won The Masters for a second time in May, 2016 with a total of 550 points and a 52.5 point lead over second place.
The 2016 Masters will begin on Wednesday, May 18th in Isla Mujeres, Mexico. Angler and Boat standings will be posted on the Masters web site, Masters Angling Tournament every evening after scoring is completed.

Dale Creamer put the hammer down today and jumped into a pretty formidable lead. Daily leader Sam Peters caught 5 and posted 300 points to jump into 4th place. Pat Healey also had a great day and moved up to second with 192.5 points.
